I am a graduate from the Social Design department at the Design Academy Eindhoven. I?m interested in the question of how to enact change. My work is often directed towards creating community and collective moments, revolving around notions of low-tech, limited resources and pleasure.
I follow an approach of ?Pleasure in Scarcity?, embracing material limitations as a way to produce joyful moments and positive change. The collective constructions I initiate are based on the simple idea of people coming together, building things they need or enjoy using (for example rocket stoves, bread ovens or wind generators).
Currently I am working from my mobile design studio. This allows me to encounter different people and to develop my design practice in different contexts.
